Specialist panels — including advanced genetic testing or complex longevity markers — may take slightly longer. DNA testing turnaround varies by service type. A clear expected timeframe will be confirmed at the time of your booking.

Yes. Your results are strictly private and handled in full accordance with UK GDPR and data protection law. Results are shared only with you. J Artistry Diagnostics does not automatically notify your GP, NHS, insurers, or any other third party without your explicit written consent.

No, not automatically. Your results are entirely private. You are completely free to share them with your GP if you choose to. If you have significant findings and would like a qualified doctor to review them with you, you can add our GP Clinical Results Consultation (£95) at booking or after receiving your results.

It depends on the panel you have selected. Tests including cholesterol (lipid profile), blood glucose, HbA1c, and metabolic panels typically require 8–12 hours of fasting beforehand. If fasting is required for your specific test, you will be clearly told at the time of booking. Water is always fine to drink, and you should continue taking any regular prescribed medications as normal.

If any result falls outside the normal reference range, our clinical team will contact you directly to discuss next steps. Results are colour-coded as In Range, Monitor, or Action Needed for clarity. For significantly abnormal findings, we will advise whether further investigation with your NHS GP or a specialist is appropriate. We do not leave clients alone with concerning results — support and guidance are always available.

Yes. Our Home or Workplace Blood Collection add-on (from £75) means a qualified phlebotomist visits your home, office, or preferred location across the UK. Appointment times are flexible subject to availability. This service is also available for corporate clients who need on-site collection for multiple employees at once.

A Wellness MOT is a consultation-based health assessment. It includes a lifestyle review, health measurements (such as blood pressure, weight, and BMI), and personalised wellness recommendations from a qualified healthcare professional — but does not routinely include laboratory blood testing unless specifically arranged. A blood test or biomarker panel involves collecting a blood sample which is sent to an accredited laboratory for analysis of specific health markers. Many clients choose both together for the most comprehensive view of their health.

Unlike mail-in kit providers, J Artistry Diagnostics offers in-person sample collection by a qualified phlebotomist — significantly reducing the risk of poor-quality samples and inaccurate results that can arise from self-collected kits. Every result is reviewed by a qualified clinician, and we offer follow-up GP consultations, personalised Health Blueprint reports, and ongoing support. We don't simply send you a PDF — we help you understand what your results mean and what to do next.
